Profile of Genrec's new MD, Don Lidberg
Don Lidberg’s experience in the fabrication business goes back to the United States of America where after he finished school, he studied and graduated at the Hobart School of Welding technology, Troy, Ohio.
Don Lidberg’s experience in the fabrication business goes back to the United States of America where after he finished school, he studied and graduated at the Hobart School of Welding technology, Troy, Ohio. Don’s practical experience sterns back to being involved with the American Welding Society (AWS) where he was a member and Past Chairman (Section 16). He is still involved with the American Institute of Steel Construction.
With 35 years of experience in the fabrication and construction industry, goes back when he progressed from the shop floor to the plant manager of Havens Steel Company in the USA. Don then emigrated to China (on behalf of Havens Steel) and went on to become General Manager of United Steel Structures (USSL).
After 10 years of USSL, Don then took up the challenge of General Manager, Thai Herrick Company Thailand.
Don has a strong personal mission and motivational guideline: “Motivate and lead all levels of the team to operate towards the organizations goals. Conceive the vision, develop the plan and then implement the detail”.
