Latest News from the HSE Department
Genrec being a heavy structural steel industry, places major emphasis on the HSE Department and the procedures of the company.
A lot of unforeseen incidents and accidents can take place, and it is the responsibility of the HSE Department to ensure a risk free environment. Genrec’s HSE Department compromises of the following employees:

5. C.Bosch (HSE Officer Trainee)
6. C.Botha (HSE Administrator)

To ensure a risk free environment for all our workers, the following developments are taking place.
- The HSE Department are currently revising the management system in place with an aim of continues improvement. The process kicked off with revising the current risk assessments. This has been completed and all employees have been trained on the process.
- Currently negotiating dates in August 09 with DQS to conduct an 18001 certification audit. The aim is to have our Health and Safety system certified in the first week in August 09.
Management live safety, not only at work, but also in their personal time, we will commit to a risk free environment, no matter what it takes.
